Anthony Hamilton visits Kenya

The Grammy-award winning singer and his band arrived Nairobi, Kenya on Monday, October 14, 2013 in preparation for the show ‘Tusker Lite Experience’ which will take place on Saturday, October 19, 2013 at the Carnivore grounds.

Hamilton and his crew were welcomed by the general manager of Hemingways Nairobi, Simon Hodson and Nairobi sales and marketing manager, Anne Murungi. Speaking to the press, the artiste promised to thrill his audience and probably do some collaborations with Kenyan artists.


‘Am here for a few days, so maybe it’ll happen. Who knows?’

Other legendary acts noted to have participated at the Tusker Lite Experience include Joe Thomas, Johnny Gill, Donell Jones and Erykah Badu.

Anthony Hamilton rose to fame with his platinum-selling second album ‘Comin from where I’m from’ (2003) which featured the title track single Comin from where I’m from’ and the follow-up Charlene’.

He has released 7 albums with numerous awards such as BET Awards (2006), Grammy Awards (2009), Vibe Music Awards (2004) and other nominations
