Bar beach is aguably the most popular beach in Lagos. Located on Ahmadu Bello way in Victoria Island, Bar beach Known for its sand bars, extends from the west by the Institute of Oceanography all the way to Eko Hotel toward the east. Many activities are available for sports enthusiasts including horse back riding, swimming and football among other popular beach sports.
Though You may be tempted to jump into the water on a sunny day, swimming and surfing is seriously discouraged because of the strong churning currents of the sea. 



Coconut Beach is a beautiful beach in the coastal town of Badagry, west of Lagos.The beeach is located between the borders of Nigeria and Benin Republic.

surrounded by Coconut trees, obviously where the beach got its name from, Coconut beach provides a relaxed and peacful environment for travellers and tourists. Coconut beach also has a few holiday holiday resorts where visitors can get refreshments.



Elegushi Beach is a hot, sandy, beautiful oasis located at Ikate Elegbushi bus stop, a 2km drive from the Lekki toll off Lekki/ Epe Express way. Though it is not the cleanest of beaches, it remains one of the most patronized beaches in Lagos. Elegushi is a private beach and offers a mix of music, food and beautiful scenery of the water. There are different make shift clubs which serves a different purpose during the day scattered along the beach.

There’s a one thousand Naira gate fee per person and two hundred Naira parking fee per car. You can go to Elegushi with your food and drinks if you don't want to buy from the shops on the beach.

To stay safe, swimming is highly discouraged because of the strong current. However, you can still have maximum fun without swimming.



This is one of the most serene and clean beaches in Lagos. This beach is frequently visited by local families and fun seekers looking for some quieteness. Eleko Beach offers sporting activities for everyone. The atmosphere is relaxed and rejuvenating for beach combers of all types.



This is an exclusive beach and located across the harbor of Lagos and can be accessed by boat. This is one beach in Lagos where swimming is not discouraged. Swimming is popular here because the water is quiet. Surfing and water skiing are also available. Rental tents and chairs are available for tourists to Takwa Bay. The serenity is complete with breezes that blow through the harbor.
