Drake Attains Platinum Status For ‘Nothing Was The Same’ In This Week’s Album Sales

This week for album sales, Drake received another accolade by going platinum for his third studio effort Nothing Was The Same.
There are also projections of Eminem’s The Marshall Mathers LP 2 slated to move 700,000 to 750,000 copies in the first week, marking the second highest selling rap album in 2013.
MellowHigh—which consists of Domo Genesis, Hodgy Beats and Left Brain—sells just over 4,000 units for their debut. Elsewhere, DJ Khaled’s Suffering From Success sells over 8,000 copies and drops down to No. 29.
