Lagos Islanders Beat Oluyole Warriors In Their Homecoming Game

It was a situation of sports meeting entertainment over the weekend as the Lagos Islanders took on the Oluyole Warriors. Lagos Islanders hit hard with 93 points while the Oluyole Warriors had 60 points. Many of Nigeria's A list celebrities where present to support Lagos Islanders. Young GreyC opened the event with the National Anthem, Jimmie and Dotun hosted, Sound Sultan, Vector, N6 and more were at the event to embrace the Lagos Islanders.


The fun was at a peak with music by the turntable dude Dj Spinall a.k.a The CAP, so if you didn’t make it down to the games, then you can still be part of the fun on Sunday the 7th June, 2015.


Three starters on the Lagos Islanders team scored in double figures on Friday in a 93 – 60 win against the visiting Oluyole Warriors. On opening night at the Landmark Centre, the team’s alluring new facility where it would be playing all its home games henceforth, Islanders’ backcourt duo, Jason Ebie and Ben Uzoh, and highflying forward William Ndoumbe, torched the visiting Warriors in a 33-point blowout performance.
